Task Description:

Le Moyne Higher, a higher in the Jesuit tradition, invites applications for a i-twelvemonth appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics at its Syracuse, New York campus starting in August 2022. This Visiting Banana Professor of Physics position is responsible for pedagogy a mixture of lecture and laboratory classes at both introductory and advanced levels.  The instruction load for this position is 4 courses each semester.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics or a related field past the position offset date.  Preference will be given to applicants who possess a groundwork in experimental physics.  In addition, successful candidates should have demonstrated pedagogy feel, cognition of pedagogies informed by physics educational activity inquiry and a strong commitment to undergraduate education in a liberal arts setting.  Finally, successful candidates should welcome the opportunity to mentor students and propose students on their senior theses.
